The Dora C. Howard Centre was established in 1985 and is the first Adult Day Care Center licensed by the Department of Health in Rhode Island. We are a nonprofit, 501(C)3 state accredited corporation welcoming all who need care.

We offer a structured, comprehensive program that provides a variety of social programming and health support in a protective setting during the daytime hours. We have a secure facility with a stable, dedicated, trained, and caring professionals including RN's, CNA's, a Case Manager, and an Activities Coordinator . We also offer special services such as salon and podiatry services.

The Dora C. Howard Centre provides care for clients with, but not limited to, diabeties; multiple sclerosis; stroke victims; Alzheimer's Disease; etc.

Dora C. Howard interventions significantly improve the quality of life for seniors and caregivers while allowing them to remain in the community.
